I think this is really a creative way of having breakfast. Instead of bread, you can buy freshly baked croissant from the bakery shop and prepare the filling.
Ingredients:
- A block of salmon (marinated with apple cider vinegar or lemon, pepper, olive oil, salt and herbs, then grilled)
- Romaine lettuce or any other suitable leafy veggie for making sandwich
- Salt
- Sliced yellow onion
- Red bell pepper, diced
- Char grilled sauce or mayonnaise
- Tomato, diced
- Reduced salt margarine
2. Cut the croissant in the middle (like a pocket) and spread some margarine.
3. Put some lettuce and stuff the filling.
4. Your croissant is ready to be served.
